About
We Tell Natures Complete Story
Southern Kruger Safaris exists because we believe every safari, whether it's a single day in Kruger or a week-long journey from wilderness to coast, deserves depth.
We guide day and half-day safaris that immerse you in Kruger's ecosystem. We create multi-day overland experiences that let the bush unfold at its own pace. And we're pioneering bush-to-beach journeys that connect two African landscapes into one seamless story: wilderness and waves, land and sea, the complete Africa experience.
We partner with lodges who share our values.
We work with guides who care as much as we do. And we've built something we're genuinely proud of: safaris that are unhurried, educational, and deeply connected to place.

How our Family Ended up Here
In 2019, Glen and Liesl made the slightly unhinged decision to leave their corporate careers (finance, operations, all very sensible) and start a safari company.
Glen went all in, earning his FGASA qualification and developing a guiding style that's become our signature: observant, story-driven, with a touch of wit.
Liesl? She's the reason we actually function. Every booking confirmed, every payment tracked, every partnership managed with the kind of precision that comes from three decades in finance and business operations.
One vehicle. Two people. A belief that safari could be built around genuine connection instead of just game drive checklists.
Fast forward five years: we're running multi-vehicle operations daily, working with 13 vetted guides who share our philosophy, maintaining a perfect 5-star review record, and holding back-to-back TripAdvisor Top 10 Worldwide awards (2024 & 2025). Not bad for a family who chose baobabs over boardrooms.
Then in 2025, Robyn joined us. International hospitality background, strategic mind, and the ability to see where we're going while protecting what makes us who we are. She's steering our expansion into multi-day and bush-to-beach territory, building the structure we need to grow without losing the warmth that defines us.
Still family-run. Still enthusiastic about the small details. Still believe every safari matters, whether it's six hours or six days. That part's non-negotiable.
