Ponta Malongane is a small, unspoilt coastal village in southern Mozambique, located approximately 2.5 to 3 hours by road from Marloth Park and the southern region of Kruger National Park.

 

Set between dune forest and the warm Indian Ocean, it forms part of the Ponta do Ouro Partial Marine Reserve, ensuring the coastline remains protected and low-density.

This stretch of shoreline is known for accessible coral reefs, warm currents and exceptional marine biodiversity. Dolphins are frequently seen in the area, humpback whales migrate past in season, and life follows the rhythm of the tides.
